About Me

I have always had a healthy interest  in all things Engineering, the majority of my immediate family are or have been employed within different areas of engineering. My Grandfather was an Airframe Technician in the RAF and then later became involved with the building of Concorde. My Father is a Welder / Fabricator and has been building Coaches for many years, and now my brother is a Design engineer for the same company. Upon leaving leaving school in 1996 I was offered an apprenticeship by a company who specialised in non-ferrous precision machined components. To my knowledge it was the only Foundry and fully equipped Machine shop in Europe. Most of the business was for Aerospace projects. I am 35 years old with over 18 years experience in many areas of engineering. I am currently working towards my degree on a part time basis for both personal and professional reasons. I am currently living in Scarborough with my Fiance and three sons, ages 16, 12 and 8.
